Salvator mundi
The luminous face of Christ appears from the dark. He is the Salvator Mundi, IHS, Jesus Homini Salvator. The Savior of the world and of all men.
With his right hand he blesses, with the other he holds the sphere, symbol of the world, but it is not an imperial globe, that is, the terrestrial sphere surmounted by the cross, but a sort of magnifying glass, symbol of his vision of things. Visible and Invisible.
